How transportation can be made better in Nigeria
The nigerian state governments should set a guideline for transportation vehicles. These guidelines should include the following:
- Maximum number of passengers (should be as many passengers as seatbelts)
- Painting (cars should not be scratched)
- Panel beating (no dented cars)
- Complete lights, Trafficators, etc
- No black smoke coming out of the back
- No broken windows
All states should have a single unique color for their buses and taxis. Any vehicle which does not meet this criteria, the police should officially be allowed to tax them N500 and pocket the money themselves (this is the core innovation). Police are not allowed to tax any compliant vehicle
